What collegiate events are

Collegiate events are tournaments for college players. They run on the same brackets, check-in and result reporting as every other event on Tempted Tournaments, with one addition: your school email is verified so your results count for your school.

Some collegiate events require approval. When they do, teams whose starters are all verified are accepted right away and everyone else waits for an admin to review the entry.

Get verified

How school verification works

  1. 1. Enter your school email

Use an address that ends in .edu, or one from a school on our list. Public providers like Gmail do not count.

  2. 2. Confirm the code

We email a 6-digit code and a one-tap link. Either one verifies you. Both expire in 15 minutes.

  3. 3. Enter events

Your account is marked as a verified student. Verified rosters get into approval-only events straight away.

Campus ambassadors

Verified students can apply to represent their school: share your invite link, grow your school's player base and wear the Campus Ambassador badge on your profile.

College tournament FAQ

What are collegiate events?

Collegiate events are tournaments built for college players. Rosters are checked against school email verification, and results count toward the school standings.

How does school verification work?

Enter your school email address. It must end in .edu or belong to a school on our list. We email a 6-digit code and a one-tap link that both expire in 15 minutes. Confirming either one marks your account as verified.

What if my school is not listed?

Addresses ending in .edu work without a list. Schools outside the US are added by our staff on request, so contact support with your school's email domain.

What happens if my team is not fully verified?

On events that require approval, rosters where every starter is verified are accepted straight away. Other entries wait as pending until an admin reviews them.
